Overview
Zaha Hadid Architects is looking for a People & Talent Advisor (HR Advisor) to join our team on a permanent contract.
Working as part of a collaborative team of 10, this role provides generalist HR support to a defined business unit within ZHA. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality operational and advisory support across the full employee lifecycle, managing immigration and payroll processes, supporting employee relations, and line managing a People & Talent Coordinator.

Main responsibilities
Immigration and International Transfers
- Coordinate and manage visa applications, including new sponsorships and extensions.
- Liaise with immigration solicitors to ensure legal compliance.
- Advise managers and employees on visa requirements, processes, and timelines.
- Manage internal international transfers, secondments, and relocations.
Payroll
- Oversee monthly payroll for the designated business unit, in collaboration with the People & Talent Coordinator.
- Input all necessary changes and documents, and liaise closely with the Accounts team to ensure accuracy.
Talent Management / Employee Relations
- Provide advice on HR policies and processes, including flexible working, leave entitlements, TOIL, and performance management.
- Manage HR procedures from end-to-end such as probation periods, family leave, and absence management.
- Advise managers and support on employee relations cases, including PIPs, contract changes, and terminations.
People & Talent Operations
- Ensure all P&T admin processes are delivered accurately and on time for the relevant business units.
- Respond to queries from the People & Talent inbox and act as a point of contact for employees.
- Monitor absence reporting and follow up as needed.
- Provide advice on benefits and liaise with external providers.
- Analyse employee data to inform business decisions and HR strategy.
- Contribute to key HR projects, including HRIS improvements, appraisals, pay review and promotions.
- Support general administrative tasks, including leading exit interviews and collating feedback.
- Produce ad hoc reporting and respond to external data requests (e.g. AJ100, ONS).
Line Management
- Line manage and mentor the People & Talent Coordinator.
- Provide advice and guidance on administrative best practices.
- Oversee the People & Talent inbox and ensure all tasks are delivered to a high standard and on time.
Project Work
- Support the People & Talent Management team on the review and development of policies.
- Lead or contribute to P&T projects as required.
